Organic botanical oils in a liquid soap to naturally cleanse your hair. Commercial shampoos are not soaps, but detergents. They usually contain lots of nasty chemicals you want to avoid. Detergents also strip your hair of its natural moisture barrier by "fraying out" the overlapping layers of you hair's cuticle (it looks a lot like layers of tree bark under a microscope). It is the main reason you wind up needing their synthetic conditioner to make those layers lay down smoothly again.
Truly natural shampoos, like ours, are made from soaps that clean away dust, dirt, and excess build-up from your hair and scalp. Organic essential oils of peppermint and tea tree stimulate circulation, and fight bacteria, excess oil production, and the fungus that contributes to dandruff. Peppermint and tea tree is great on any hair, but works especially well with oily hair or dry, itchy scalps. We recommend following with our Organic Orange Conditioning Gel instead of a conventional conditioner.
Directions for use: Shampoo and rinse hair as you normally would. (If you have very hard water, you may need to add a small amount of baking soda to your shampoo as you wash) Follow with face naturals Conditioning Gel for soft, shiny and manageable hair.
